About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Beginning in 2011 with our very first program, we have worked to be a blessing to families in the community. Our Secret Santa program for grandparents raising grandchildren was the first. It all started when a grandmother discovered, just days before Christmas, that her grandchildren would have no gifts, clothes, or food. With the help of caring families, each child was “adopted” and received the love and support they needed by Christmas morning. That moment opened our eyes to how many grandparents face the same challenges—quietly raising a second set of children with limited resources and little support. Since then, our Secret Santa program has grown to serve over 500 children and 300 families, while expanding into a Thanksgiving program and a back-to-school supply drive.
For several years, we partnered with other non-profit community organizations to serve our families. We are proud that this year, we have officially established our own non-profit to continue being the blessings we've always been.
At Granny D’s Love, we believe in lifting the burden from grandparents’ shoulders and bringing joy, hope, and community to the families they care for.
